Moderation Guidelines

Legislation

Moderators can enter their duty in an Temporary or (Semi-)Permanent way. Every new moderator enters the position on an temporary, -trial like basis.
  • Temporary (Trial period) moderators can serve for up to 6 months, after that, they will be removed from the position or will be promoted to semi permanent.
  • Semi Permanent can moderators serve up to an year, after that they remain in the position but will have to take an mandatory break for at least 2 months.
  • Permanent moderators can serve as long as they like.

Eligibility

Users become eligible for the duty of an Moderator if they meet at least 2 of given criteria:
  • Has not been dishonorably discharged as a moderator before, either by CCRI or Yui
  • Not having any major penalties in the past 90 days
  • Having Level 3 Clearance or VIP Status
  • Being active in the Community for at least 2 months
  • Has been invited by Yui

Termination

Moderators will get removed from the position if they:
  • dont pass the trial period
  • exceed the 6 months mark of the temporary version and not get promoted to Semi-Permanent
  • resign
  • become inactive for a certain period of time (does not count for permanent moderators)
  • get an penalty issued against their account for major violations (By the NFSA Board or Yui themself, must at least be an timeout for 48 hours.)

Disciplinary Actions

Just as users face penalties for violation against the Community Guidelines, Moderators may also face disciplinary action in case of violation of the community guidelines.

Disciplinary Actions can be issued by: NFSA Board, Yui or a Lead Mod while a Lead Mod cannot issue an disciplinary action against an other Lead Mod

Disciplinary Actions are as followed:

  1. Entry Level Seperation

    1. Neutral Discharge, not considered (Dis-)Honorable
    2. Trial Moderator leaves the moderator team.
  2. Strike

    1. Reaching 3 Strikes may result in a higher Disciplinary action
    2. Issued by Lead Mod, Yui
  3. Bad Conduct Discharge

    1. Moderator will be discharged from the moderation team without the ability to re-apply for any staff position for 1 year
    2. Still eligible for Community Benefits i.e. VIP Status
    3. Issued by NFSA Board
  4. Dishonorable Discharge

    1. Moderator will be discharged from the moderation team without the ability to re-apply for any staff position
    2. Not eligible for Community Benefits i.e. VIP Status
    3. Issued by NFSA Board
