Privacy Policy — NepFam Panel

This Privacy Policy explains what data the NepFam Panel Twitch Extension ("the Extension") collects, why, and how it is handled. It applies only to the Extension and its backend service (the "NepFam EBS").

What data we collect
When you open the Extension on a channel where it is installed, Twitch provides us with a signed token identifying you. Based on that, we collect and store:
- Twitch identifiers: your Twitch user ID, username, and display name
- Avatar: your Twitch profile picture URL
- Role information: whether you are a Moderator, VIP, Subscriber (and tier), or regular Viewer of the channel, and how long you've followed the channel — obtained via the Twitch Helix API using the broadcaster's authorization
- In-Extension activity: your Lumen / Pure Lumen currency balances, claimed rewards and streaks, redeemed codes, unlocked achievements, owned/equipped cosmetic shop items, and game statistics (e.g. slot machine / blackjack results)
- Preferences: your selected display language (DE/EN)
- Channel Points redemptions: when you redeem a Channel Points reward that is mapped to an in-Extension currency, Twitch notifies us of that redemption event via EventSub so we can credit the corresponding currency
We do not collect your email address, real name, IP address for tracking purposes, payment information, or any data unrelated to the features described above. The Extension does not use cookies or third-party advertising/analytics trackers.
Where your data comes from
- Directly from Twitch, via the Extension's identity token and the Twitch Helix/EventSub APIs (role, follow date, subscription tier, Channel Points redemptions)
- Optionally from Mix It Up, a chat-bot application run locally by the streamer, if the streamer has connected it — in that case your Lumen / Pure Lumen balances may be read from or written to Mix It Up instead of our own database
- Directly from you, through your interactions with the Extension (claiming rewards, entering redeem codes, playing games, sending currency to other viewers, choosing a display name/bio if you set one)
Why we process this data
- To show you your own profile, balances, and progress inside the panel
- To let other viewers find your public profile through Community Search and see the Leaderboard
- To determine your role badge (Mod/VIP/Sub/Viewer) and apply role-based features
- To convert Channel Points redemptions into in-Extension currency
- To detect achievement progress and unlock eligibility for VIP/Mod status requests
Who can see your data
- Other viewers of the channel can see your display name, avatar, role badge, and currency balances through Community Search and the Leaderboard — this is public, comparable to chat badges.
- The streamer (broadcaster) can see the same data, plus administrative details needed to manage rewards, codes, and shop items.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or unrelated third parties.
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on the backend server operated for this Extension (the "NepFam EBS"), and — if the streamer has connected it — mirrored in their local Mix It Up installation. No data is stored on Twitch's servers beyond what Twitch itself already holds about your account.
Data retention
We retain your Extension profile and activity data for as long as the Extension remains installed on the channel and you continue to use it. You may request deletion of your data at any time (see "Your rights" below).
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Request a copy of the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing

Children's privacy
The Extension is intended for use in accordance with Twitch's own Terms of Service, which require users to meet Twitch's minimum age requirements. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age beyond what Twitch itself provides through the Extension token.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Extension evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Extension after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
